Waterproofbeds is a specialist UK manufacturer of waterproof beds, mattresses, bed bases and safety padding for demanding environments.

Our roots go back to Stretton’s Upholstery, founded in 1994 as a traditional re-upholstery business. Over time, the company expanded into the design and manufacture of specialist waterproof furniture for the healthcare and care sectors, including padded rooms, waterproof mattresses, bed bases and custom-made furniture.

For many years, the business was run as a family company building up decades of practical upholstery and manufacturing experience. Today, we continue that work, with Waterproofbeds operating as a dedicated part of the business focused specifically on specialist waterproof beds and related products.

The experience behind Waterproofbeds goes back to 1994, With the founder working in upholstery since 1988 giving us more than 30 years of upholstery and specialist manufacturing knowledge.
